The Blessing of Brokenness

We decide the outcome of our brokenness…

We can choose to respond to brokenness with anger, bitterness, and hate.

We can rail against our circumstances.
-
We can strike out against those whom we believe have caused us pain.
These options are open to us because we have free will.
The way to blessing, however, lies in turning to God to heal us and make us whole. We decide whether we will yield to Him and trust Him. Wholeness is God’s intended outcome for our brokenness. When we are whole we can be fruitful, we find fulfillment, peace, and joy in our lives. Jesus said repeatedly to those who come to Him for healing, “ Be thou made whole.” Nothing else will do.
