What is Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, twelve-step recovery program...for you.

We've discovered a safe place to talk about our hurts, habits and hang-ups, whatever they might be. We are all recovering from something. At High Pointe, we have simply decided to be honest about it and let God begin to heal our hurts and free us from our habits and hang-ups. If you need that kind of help, you have come to the right place.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles” based on the beatitudes. This experience allows us to “be changed”. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power (Pastor John Baker, founder of Celebrate Recovery).

When is Celebrate Recovery?
Every Monday Night.

No reservation required. Just come on! The schedule is below…

7:00 - 8:00 PM – Large Group Worship
Large group worship, teaching and testimony time. We’ll keep it upbeat, and the teaching will focus on one of the recovery principles or steps.  Refreshments are served.

8:00 - 9:00 PM
Newcomer’s 101
We encourage all first-timers to attend one session of our Newcomers' 101 Group. You will receive a brief video-introduction to Celebrate Recovery, learn about our meeting format, and hear personal testimonies. You are under no obligation to share. Just join us and find out what Celebrate Recovery is all about. You can ask questions and determine if this is a good fit for you.
Open Issue Groups
At the conclusion of our large group meeting, we break up into gender-specific issue groups for more in-depth discussions. These groups provide more in-depth sharing of similar struggles. Teachings from the large group meeting or devotional readings are used to initiate sharing. Participants are encouraged to comment, read, or just listen. You are welcome to come and not say anything.

9:00 - 10:00 PM – Pointe Cove Café
We’ll cap off the evening with a dessert and coffee. It’s a great opportunity to relax and make some friends. Refreshments are free for all first time visitors.

Child care is provided for children up to age 10 and the cost is $5.00 for the first child (maximum of $8.00 per family).

For more information contact the team confidentially (214-287-0109, recovery@highpointe.org) or call the church office (972-293-0155).
We’ll see you there!
