Life Groups are small groups designed to fulfill the small group purpose of providing care, training leaders, and building community on an ongoing basis for each individual and couple at High Pointe Baptist Church. They will meet biweekly (every other week) at a location and time agreed upon by the group. Curriculum will be agreed upon and planned by the pastoral staff, the group leaders, and coaches and will be common among all groups as appropriate to the life-stage and make-up of the group. These groups are intended to provide a consistent source of fellowship and training where people experience authentic biblical community and are encouraged, cared for, and challenged in their personal and spiritual growth and development. The leaders and group members will commit to growing the group through open chair outreach and to birth new groups as appropriate and as group size consistently approaches or exceeds the maximum of ten people.
